Richmond, VA - Interior Design – Check out our interior selections for one of our favorite new design clients.
We’re designing the space to be what I am calling “Farm House Formal”. The more formal touches come in the form of a beautiful
embroidered silk fabric for the window treatment panels and cornices. The easy floral pattern lends itself to the farmhouse feel as do the open
back side chairs in a warm french-grey distressed finish, from Hickory Chair. Built in the 1930′s, the house is lacking in natural light so we’re lightening up the existing color palette and infusing it with the warm earthy colors which we’re borrowing from some of the client’s existing furnishings. We’ve also designed a custom media center with a distressed, painted finish using our favorite cabinet line, Jim Bishop. A honed Vratza Limestone will cover the old brick fireplace surround, and a new 15 lite
mullion door will make the most of the natural light entering the room. Check back to see pictures of the finished product.
